Screaming Eagle Winery and Vineyards

Screaming Eagle Winery and Vineyards, located on a rocky hillside in Oakville, produces two of America's most expensive wines. Grassi had the privilege of working on their exclusive 20,000 square foot winery plus 12,000 square foot caves with Backen & Backen Architecture. Hidden off of Silverado Trail, the private complex features a stone and redwood exterior with rusted metal roofs and outdoor entertainment and eating area. Unlike most wineries, it does not include a tasting room. Few people ever get to visit the winery, let alone taste its wines, which sell subscription only.
