Silverado Trail Residence
Nineteenth-century writer Robert Lewis Stevenson penned the "Wine is Bottled Poetry" line during his stay in Napa Valley while authoring his travel memoir, "The Silverado Squatters." It's fitting that a third-generation winegrower would choose to live on Silverado Trail. Grassi worked with architect Howard Becken of Backen & Backen on the 6,000-square-foot estate. The owner frequently entertains family and friends, and along with communal areas, there are seven bedrooms with seven and a half baths. Additional spaces for entertaining extend outward onto the 3.6-acre property.
