Rising From the Ashes

When the 2017 Napa fires destroyed the retired couples' Neutra-inspired compound, they were relieved their cat survived the tragedy.  They knew that they could rebuild their modernist home, rehiring the original architect Regan Bice.  The property located on solid rock above Napa's valley fog layer features expansive views. Grassi worked on the 5,200 square foot primary residence, 2,800 square feet combined guest house and garage, along with the pool, terraces, and retaining walls.  A mixture of stucco, stainless steel, walnut casework, and flooring makes the design warm and contemporary.
