Soda Canyon Estate
Architect Howard Backen designed this Napa Valley compound on 61 acres to seamlessly transition from the indoors to the outdoors. Grassi built the three zinc roofed pavilions utilizing agrarian materials of cedarwood, masonry, and plaster. Sliding glass doors and semi-enclosed porches take advantage of the dramatic views of the vineyards, olive grove, landscaping, and nature. An open floor plan features a living room, dining room, and kitchen with high soaring ceilings and heated polished concrete floors in the central pavilion. Visitors staying in the separate two-bedroom guesthouse enjoy the infinity-edge pool and gardens.
