Kenzo Restaurant

For Kenzo Napa, the downtown Michelin star restaurant needed to complement its exceptional, authentic Japanese cuisine. Grassi worked with Tokyo architect S.Hafuri and Kenzo's wife Natsuko Tsujimoto to create the zen aesthetic that allows the diner to savor Edomae Sushi and Kaiseki delicacies paired with wines from the Kenzo Estate. The minimalist interior features a 10-seat sushi bar and ten tables, allowing ample space between guests. Grassi and the design team incorporated Japanese elements and materials, including rice paper window covers, golden cypress wood, beige plastered walls, and pewter-colored globe light fixtures.
