Refined Farmhouse

A dream team of Grassi, architect Howard Backen, and interior designer Nicole Hollis created this custom single-story home on a spectacular site overlooking Napa Valley. The 9,000-foot residence embraces a refined farmhouse aesthetic with recycled timber frame construction, board and batten redwood and stone exterior, gabled shingled roof, and mahogany doors and windows. On the interior, a great room features pecan hardwood floors with massive wood trusses and beams. A fireplace divides the living area from the dining. Echoing this in the courtyard is a fireplace fabricated from volcanic rock quarried on the property.
