Modern Farmhouse

This modern Napa farmhouse centers on an expansive great room with a soaring cathedral ceiling, hickory wood floor, and plaster veneer walls. Three parallel sets of steel-framed windows and doors break the space up into the living area, dining room, and kitchen. Outside, a pool and views of vineyards beckon. Backen & Backen and Grassi finished the exterior walls in stucco with cast stone trim. The zinc roof references agrarian architecture. Flanking the great room are two-story private wings for family and guests.
